Japanese delights for an aperitif on the rooftop of Florence
Taking a break at La Loggia of Piazza Michelangelo is an unique experience, cocktails made with care, fine wines, a bistrot menu available to you to complement the light dishes that are nonetheless full of personality,(did someone say salmon marinated in citrus butter?) and how can one forget… the view obviously. At sunset, while the sun slowly goes to sleep over the Ponte Vecchio, or with the Moon already high above the domes and towers of Florence, the aperitif at La Loggia restaurant is nothing short of pure magic.

Let your tastebuds and imagination guide you on this new aperitif cocktail bar on the roof of Florence.
What should you pair with your sushi aperitif?
While we are at the subject, the sushi-drink combination is an interesting question. The best option is obviously sakè, but even the western tradition holds in store interesting surprises. As for cocktails, the choice is very subjective, even if gin and tonic seems to be the obvious choice: open our cocktail bar menu and choose from an array of cocktails and ingredients that appeal to you.
On the wine side, instead, our sommelier Marco comes to our assistance, who recommends an excellent Sauvignon Blanc. It is a wine with a fresh and decisive flavor, which with its acidic and herbaceous components almost plays the role of ginger gari, which in Japan is eaten between a sushi and another to cleanse the palate from the fat and tasty fish component. However, our wine list, with its more than 70 white label available, offers a large number of possible combinations, which we will be happy to let you discover.
Sushi, the view… and music!
The bistro of the Loggia del Piazzale Michelangelo, with its new sushi bar, lends itself perfectly to any type of aperitif: a moment of relaxation before dining in our restaurant, an evening in the company of friends, an oriental dinner post. All seasoned by live music every evening, which will accompany us throughout the summer of 2018
